- Start posting content Finally, you can create content for your website. This message will disappear once you have promoted a post to the front page.

Welcome To Lake Hills Elementary School
Welcome to Lake Hills Elementary School. We offer an outstanding educational program to Young Fives through fifth grade learners in a beautiful wooded setting north of the Grand River. In addition, a Pre-School program meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings in the Lake Hills building. Childcare is available on site from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to assist families.
Our fine educational program is enhanced by many offerings that are provided by volunteers from our staff, parents, and Northshore PTA. Lake Hills has a long history of involvement in Destination Imagination. Each year between three and six teams take part in this creative, problem-solving competition at the regional level. Lake Hills has sent many teams to state competition, and two of our teams have earned a spot in global competition in recent years. Some of the other additional offerings include a Chess Club made up of 60 to 70 third through fifth graders who meet twice weekly at lunch time during the winter months, PTA sponsored Spanish Club, after-school basketball for boys and girls, Total Trek Quest for boys and Girls on the Run for girls.
Lake Hills Elementary School has the support of our very active Northshore PTA. This organization provides funds and volunteer support for in-school and extra curricular activities, equipment and supplies. Not only does PTA add to the quality of our students’ education by purchasing technical equipment, teaching aids, and various education and social assemblies, but they also advocate for children’s rights and for legislative policies involving the health, well being, safety and education for all students.
